Covert hypnosis is a real wonder. It is in fact the most powerful form
of hypnosis. The difference between the covert hypnosis and the "open
hypnosis" is that the person, while being under the influence of the
covert hypnosis does not have any idea that she/he is being hypnotized
at that time.
It's absolutely impossible to visually determine, whether any given
individual at any given moment is practicing the covert hypnosis.
Even in the case if the speech of the hypnotist was to be recorded and
then scrutinized and even in the case if a specialist (someone else
with hypnosis know-how) would see some "magical" words, some
repetitive phrases, a special tone of voice etc. - none of this can be
proven to be hypnosis.
After all, anyone has the right to talk the way we want to.
So what's happening at the time when somebody is covertly hypnotizing
someone else?
The hypnotist is using his/her ability to hypnotize, which is actually
similar to some hypnotic natural forces - such as fire, water and some
others.
In the case of the covert hypnotist it would be the ability to talk in
a very special way.
It would first be a wonderfully pleasant tale, which would diminish
the peripheral awareness of an individual. This tale would have to
trigger the proper triggers in the brain of the hypnotized individual.
The following step would be the "anchoring" of certain words with the
parts of this talk.
The next step would be to actually start to use the triggers, created
by you, in order to incline this individual to the things that you
need her or him to do.
Of course there is much more to that in real life, and this is merely
a brief outline.
