to hypnosishct
When a person first begins using covert hypnosis on a regular basis
and starts becoming proficient at it, they start to realize the sheer
enormity of the power they now possess. Being able to hypnotize people
instantly without being detected is exhilarating and empowering at
first. But soon, the new hypnotist will invariably come to terms with
the fact that they MUST act responsibly when wielding such great
power.
That's usually when they begin wondering if covert hypnosis is
dangerous.
The answer is ... "No." The method of using hypnosis in everyday
conversation in itself is not dangerous. However, these techniques
used by irresponsible individuals can most definitely have negative
consequences.
For example, let's say you use these techniques to attract a beautiful
woman at your workplace and convince her she is head-over-heels in
love with you. Before you hypnotized her, you both barely passed
glances in the hallway. Now, she makes excuses to come by your desk to
talk and even calls you at home all hours of the night, begging to
come over. Unfortunately, her husband (whom she never mentioned) does
not find this amusing and is now on his way over to your house.
Or, imagine you use your newly developed hypnosis skills to convince
your boss that you deserve a promotion. You boss agrees
wholeheartedly. In fact, they are so impressed with you that they feel
you would be just the exact type of aggressive, go-getter they've been
looking for to open up a new office ... in Siberia. You now have three
days to pack.
Truth is, if you are going to pursue learning covert hypnosis, you
simply must think of all the potential consequences ahead of time.
Especially when using it for selfish purposes. Those usually come back
to haunt you, by the way. So, maturity is a requirement here.
The bottom line? Hypnosis, in all it's forms, is a wonderful
programming tool for the mind and has always had the potential to
change people's lives for the better very quickly. But only if used by
thoughtful, well-intentioned people. Should YOU learn covert hypnosis?
Yes. Should my moody girlfriend use it?
Well ...
