We've added a Performance Guide to the Hypertable documentation. It currently contains a single section describing a new feature that was recently added and stabilized in the 0.9.8.9 release - Bypassing Commit Log (WAL) Writes. This feature allows you to dramatically increase bulk load performance by bypassing writes to the commit log. Please visit the guide for details!
