We've discovered a problem with the 0.9.7.2 release that can cause merging compactions to be disabled and the number of cell stores to grow without bound.  The links below point to packages that contain a fix for the problem.  We've also encountered a problem on a newer version of Ubuntu that we're tracking down now.  As soon as we have a fix for it, we'll do a 0.9.7.3 release.

Well, 0.9.7.2 was released to fix some problems in 0.9.7.1.  In general, you should try to keep up-to-date with the patch releases.  However, if you're not experiencing problems with 0.9.7.1, then you could probably wait.  Looks like we're going to have a 0.9.7.4 release here soon.

Hi,

just to be sure, does this issue affects versions < 0.9.7.2?

Thanks Sven
