QT console not working...

Hi everybody.

I just tried to install 0.82 on my Win7 machine. Although I don't get any error messages during installation I can not start the QT console. A small DOS-window pops up shortly, closes and that's it. That is strange since with version 0.7 everyhthing worked fine. Any ideas (or further information needed)?

I want to add, that I did a clean installation with the exe-file from the website. I also tried to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 redistributable packages, but hat didn't help either.

I finally made it work by first installing version 0.7 and then updating to 0.82. But is there a way to just install 0.82?

Well that way worked only on one machine that I actually dont want to use...

Hi Karsten,

By qtconsole do you mean the right-click shortcut? Could you try opening a notebook and then running "%qtconsole" there?

Hi Tomas.

Funnily enough, now it works. I reinstalled the package two or three times and know everything works... I don't know why but anyway....
