What is the current data coverage? I'm particularly interested in
Virginia data. As an example, I see there are places in Arlington but
nothing in Reston or Ashburn which are sizable areas. Any numbers you
could give on places in virginia, which cities, and when there might
be more would be helpful. Your API will be incredibly useful once the
data coverage is better.

Dave-

We're currently covering the top 50 cities in the US and will be pushing into more locations on a rolling basis. We'll keep you up dated and appreciate the interest. To help view coverage, we're building a real time heat map of coverage and have it available online for developers.

Here's a list of cities we cover. As Jeff mentioned, we'll be adding more frequently.

Not seeing any data returned for the washington dc area. Is there a
problem with the data for that area?

Thanks
Imran

Would you mind sending an example query so we can best help you?

I was trying to see the data available through the Hyperpublic Places
lab project. I live near DC so I just dragged the map marker from my
location to near the center of washington dc which gave the
coordinates of 38.8856511560399, -77.00016604892579. When I clicked on
places I got no data back. I was hoping to find a list of deals
available in the area.

Thanks!
Imran

Hi Imran-

Here is an example query for deals in the area of DC you referenced:

Please update with your client id and secret as the above used the example one from the developer documentation. Also try other areas or a larger radius. Let us know if we can help!
