relativization of predictors?

Dear HyperNiche team,
somehow I failed to understand if there is some built-in standardization for predictors in HyperNiche.
Namely, I would like to use soil parameters (measured at different scales) as predictors. I normally like to have all my predictors brought to the same footing (to avoid undue "relevance" of predictors expressed in numerically large values), so I first do  relativization in PC-ORD (adjust to standard deviate), and then use it in HyperNiche.
Does it make sense, or am I doing something superfluous?
Thanks a lot!

Hi Nina,
It is unnecessary to relativize the predictors in HyperNiche -- it won't change the results, except that because of the rescaling the tolerances in the model will have different values. The tolerances will, however, still be the same in relation to the range of the predictor.
