In addition to my response and predictor matrices I have a vector of weights for each SU. The weights are an attempt to address sampling issues, and therefore it would be nice if I could provide them to HyperNiche such that the fitting takes them into account, so that each SU receives the appropriate weight during the process. Is this possible in HyperNiche?

Thanks,

Daniel

Daniel, this would be great to have but unfortunately I can't think of a way of doing this with the current incarnation of HyperNiche. Perhaps a back door way of accomplishing this, if you have a large data set, is by subsampling to remedy the sampling issues. For example, if you have oversampled in some categories, you could use a stratified random sample to balance it.

Bruce: thanks for your reply. I'll give some thought to the option you suggest of doing a stratified random sampling.
