Is it possible to load the dataset of hypergraph. Actually i have to perform some analysis for that purpose i need dataset.

Hi,

What dataset would you like to load? There aren’t any special tools in the HGDB for loading data. You’d need to use the Java API.

Hi,

There is no “the dataset of HGDB” :) One publicly available dataset I’ve used to gauge performance, profile and optimize is WordNet. If you look at this repo:

https://github.com/hypergraphdb/wordnet

There is a HGDB module to load WordNet and there are some semantic utilities methods implemented that perform various graph searches and traversals you could look at.

There was a paper published back in 2010 that included HGDB in its benchmarking, but I don’t have the info.

I should note, as I have several times before here, that performance as a “graph database” is not really HGDB’s strength. If you are looking to find out if it’s fast enough for your needs, it makes sense to check that. But if you are looking to put it head to head with your typical graph database like neo4j, it’s probably a waste of time, it’s much slower.
