Hello,

I am trying to get to the hyperdbg GUI after execution.  Whenever I push F12 it just freezes until I push it again.  I have disabled 3D, and I am doing this under XP SP2.  I have tried to recompile as well.  It doesn't crash, although It's as if the screen is supposed to be showing, although it doesn't.  Does anyone with experience have any idea?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,

have you checked the video memory address? If you are using the SVN version, you should do it and, if necessary, replace the old one and recompile. If the address is wrong, the behaviour is exactly the one you described.

I actually have went into the Device Properties and then modified the address with a custom one from the video driver.  I even tried the other memory addresses and dealt with a few crashes via trial and erroring the different addresses...

What address you have chosen? vmware's version?

I have tried:
d0000000
00a00000
c8800000
on Fusion 5 MAC with XP SP2... and SVN and old release tar of hyperdbg... I tried to let it auto find the address and it picked d0000000

d0000000 appears indeed correct :-) The problem here is that with
vmware fusion and MAC you are going into an unexplored territory >-)
We tested hdbg only in vmware workstation 8 and 9, there maybe issues
in how fusion deals with the graphics on your mac.
Please let us know if you find a solution, unfortunately we have no
way to test it on Fusion.

Cheers,
Aristide
