Hi Aristide Fattori,

Recently, I move the HDBG development into a physical machine for utilizing the new hardware features that VMware does not support.

I have one question about how to output the debug message using() the Log function.

It seems that portmon.exe could not print the information locally. Or do I need the second machine to connect the serial port?

BTW, my current develop environment is WinXP SP3.

Thanks a lot.

Today, I used the second physical machine to connect the target machine's serial port.

Then, I use the securecrt to output the serial port information.

Unfortunately, I get the unreadable codes.

I configure the baud rate with 9600. Could you give me some hint for the problem?

Thanks a lot.

I have found the problem: HDBG does not initialize parameters for the serial port.

To tackle the issue, I make use of the serial port utility to set the parameters.

Then, the serial port works.

Thanks.
