Hello Hypercubists,
It's me again. :) Now with the solution of the 2x2x5x5. You can find my .log file attached.
It has four 2x2x5 and four 2x5x5 cells and so RKT moves are not really possible on this cuboid.
I created all my algs and eventually solved this cube in a view where one of the 2x2x5 cells was in the center.
The 2-coloured middle layer face pieces can easily be solved with maximum 3 moves.
To solve the 2nd and 4th layer 2-coloured face pieces I created the following macro:
1a) FACE 3-CYCLE - type 1
For the next layer's 2-coloured face pieces I created and used the following 3 marcos:
1b) FACE 3-CYCLE - type 2
1c) FACE FLIP
1d) FACE SWAP*
*this looks like a 2-SWAP but this is actually a 3-CYCLE if we make the next layer pieces visible..
To solve the 3-coloured edge pieces I created the following algs:
2a) EDGE 3-CYCLE - type 1
2b) EDGE SWAP
2c) EDGE FLIP
For the next layer's 3-coloured edge pieces only the following alg is necessary:
2d) EDGE 3-CYCLE - type 2
And finally for the 4-coloured corner pieces the following two macros will be required:
3a) CORNER 3-CYCLE
3b) CORNER FLIP
If you like my solution I recommend you to check my brand new Superliminal page and follow all
my hypercubing activities there:
Who else is using MPUlt to solve cuboids?
Happy hypercubing!
