Hi all,

I previously solved the Magic 120-cell on August 30, 2014 in under 20k moves.
Last year, I decided to start another Magic 120-cell solve.

I started the solve on September 2, 2023, and finally solved it on August 30, 2024.
I have less time these days because of work and chores, but I was still able to take long breaks in between so that I didn't just spend every evening over the last year solving the puzzle.

Excluding the 1k-move scramble, the solution is under 10k moves. Excluding break days, I used around 140 days. I was able to solve the puzzle in much fewer moves this time thanks to building larger blocks at a time and using RKT-cancelled commutators during the last layer.

Because I use Linux and wasn't able to get Magic 120-cell working with Wine, I used a Windows 10 virtual machine (VM) on VirtualBox and disabled twist animations to reduce lag. I'm not sure whether that means I can say I solved the puzzle on a Windows machine with only 4 GB of RAM and a single i5 CPU core, but those are my current VM parameters.

Regards,
Raymond
