The primary reason why I'm using CRD is because I want to manage my
crew skills in SWTOR from school or work, so I'm using CRD on my
phone.

How will CRD affect my phone's battery life?

CRD actually charges your battery by using the force.

Ok, well not really. CRD uses network and opengl, so battery drain would be similar to a game. Don't leave it on screen when you're not using it if you want to save battery.
