I managed to setup CRD server for an internal network with success,
but I have a few questions regarding the setup of the CRD server and
the external network.

I am using a netgear router and the setup screen for port forwarding
looks like this http://screenshots.portforward.com/Netgear/WGR614/Port_Forwarding.jpg

1. Start port and end port should be the port that I entered when
starting the server, right? In your case 8081 or any other port I
choose to use? But it has to be the same one that I use here
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7nOBjEFqhnY/TwIbISuAmvI/AAAAAAAAAFE/fEkULom2Hn8/s1600/nebulous+client+options.jpg
, right?

2. Server IP adress should be the internal adress (the one I get when
I use "cmd" and "ipconfig")?

3. Is TCP or UDP in any case relevant for a successful connection? If
I remember correctly I had to choose between one or both of those
protocols.

Yes to 1 and 2. For 3 you need to choose TCP.  Let us know if you need any further assistance.
