Hi all!

I'm just back from the Mozilla Festival and subsequent trip around the US, part of which was to graduate from an open-source accelerator program called WebFWD.

I need to write blog posts on all this, but briefly Hyperaudio was well received at the Mozilla Festival and I also made some useful connections in San Francisco, hope to be able to announce these soon.

As you may or may not, part of Hyperaudio's mission is to create libraries and and API that will allow people to create their own Hyperaudio applications. We have some things that people can look at to get a feel of where we are:

On the tools side we have:

http://hyperaud.io/pad This is super alpha still and to explain a little, you can open up a library of demo material by clicking the top left button and then select hold and drag across to the right hand side remixing area. You can move parts around and from the bottom right the only effect that is currently implemented is the title. It's obviously work in progress but this should work on the iPad too. Happy to get any feedback on it. Be brutal! :)

On the libraries side you can take a look at:

http://hyperaud.io/lab/ha-examples/ Which shows how you can create a Hyperaudio type application in relatively few lines of code. More examples to come, the UK Parliament are running a hack day this weekend and wanted to experiment so we are giving them early access and I thought I should also share with you guys.

Cheers

Mark

PS Some of you may have received a rather technical email in error. Basically it was intended for the development group - if you're interested in joining the dev group BTW - let us know!
