Hi,
I think I need some help here. I atacched a microphone to a hype file
I work on. Connecting the mic is working okay, but when I want it to
generate the animation, it simply doesn't work.
I figuered that I need to converse the audio generated by the mic into
a soundObject to let the animation play.
In order to try to let that one work I searched the help files of
flash and found an example. That worked great, but.....it's set up
with a timer. When I remove that timer, nothing happens and mor than
once my flash crashed.

What do I have to do to let it work? I probably think way to complex
again. I tried TimeType, FunctionTracker and SimpleRythm to call back
the function of SampleDataHandler...nope for all

Who can help me with this?

regards,
Karin

whoeaaa, I've got it, it works like a charm. Had to update to
newer(newest) flashPlayer and swc

Only problem is that if I do a test and stop that, my Flash crashed.
Why is that?

works like a charm, but after a test, my Flash keeps crashing and I
have no idea why.

Is it the Flash player that's crashing or the Flash dev environment? I've found Flash Pro to be very touchy when playing with getMicrophone unfortunately.

the Flash dev environment. When I play the test file afterwards,
nothing wrong. But I learned the hard way to save before try;-)
btw, is it possible to make an array or is there a way to do that
with pixelColorist, like you can with colorPool ?
