Great News, the more moderators, the better! More eyeballs will
quickly spot and weed out the scammers. Good luck!
To us at HyipSpace, there are a number of indicators that will raise
the
red flag of suspicion, among others:
1) Extremely high returns. Anything above 3% daily looks too good to
be true.
2) Extremely high reference commissions often are a tactic of scammers
who
want quick returns to close the site soon after opening it.
(example: PTT)
3) Sometimes, lousy English will be an indicator of Chinese scam
sites.
4) Very fancy and flashy sites also sometimes indicate trouble. If
looks
are so much more important than content, the proverb "Feathers make
the bird, but cloth a monk does not make" applies. Be weary.
5) Too much reference to "we are honest" and "we will last 10 years or
more" also sets of alarms.
6) No references to where admin is located.
7) No incorporation or representation as an official registered
company
is a dead give away to the individual running a HYIP scheme.
Often,
people working alone do not have the means of remaining afloat
more than a couple of weeks.
8) No mentions of the site on any of the monitors: better wait and see
before taking a chance.
There are more, but these are a matter of subjective interpretation
and
intuition by experience. When they become a matter of rational
thinking
processes, we will post them.
