Dear colleagues,
We have developed a revised version of our java applets for Groundwater Education.

The applications run on any web browser. Some of the models include:   (a) Diffusion + first-order reaction in spherical particles; (b) Non-reactive and reactive solute transport with 1D, 2D, and 3D dispersion (e.g. Ogata-Banks and Domencio solutions); (c) 1D transport with mass-transfer sorption and first-order decay; (d) 1D transport with chain decay reactions; (e) generation of 2D spatially correlated random permeability fields; (f) 2D steady flow and particle tracking in homogeneous or random permeability fields.  Model solutions can be exported as text or csv.  There are some options for uploading laboratory/field data.

There is also an interactive MODFLOW application that simulates a 2D unconfined aquifer connected to a river. Users can interact with the model through a web browser to add pumping wells and make other changes.
