PhD opportunity in hydrology/machine learning at KIT, DEU

Dear all, 

in the Hydrology group at KIT (Prof. Dr. Erwin Zehe), we have an open PhD position (75% TVL-E13, 3 years)  on the application of machine learning methods in hydrological modelling, focusing on learning from the variety of available environmental data to improve predictions of hydrological extremes such as floods and droughts.
