On behalf of Women Plus Water, we invite you to a conversation dedicated to our world's water towers: mountains and glaciers. Host Corinne Schuster-Wallace (University of Saskatchewan) with guests Sunwi Maski (ICIMOD), Laura Thomson (Queen's University), and Carline Cote (adventure filmmaker) will share experiences and knowledge about glaciers worldwide—what’s happening to them, why it matters, and how these changes impact downstream communities.
Date: Thursday, March 20, 2025
Time: 12:30 pm CST (UTC-6)
Location: Online (Zoom)
This event is being held in celebration of the inaugural World Day for Glaciers (March 21) and World Water Day (March 22) with the theme of 'Glacier Preservation'.
Feel free to share this invitation with colleagues who may be interested.
Sincerely,
Stacey (on behalf of the Women Plus Water team)
