Info session: New master's in groundwater hydrology at UPC in Barcelona

Dear colleagues,
The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya is pleased to announce the opening of a new specialized 1-year master's program in Groundwater Hydrology in Barcelona, Spain. The program coursework and thesis projects are focused directly on the hydrology and biogeochemistry of groundwater systems. 
Students can apply now to join the first cohort in October of 2026.

The program carries the seal of the European Higher Education Area European Higher Education Area (EHEA), officially recognized throughout the European Union and beyond.
Over the year, students will earn 60 credits ETCS (equivalent to two semesters of full-time classes) taught by hydrogeology faculty and researchers in the Groundwater Hydrology Group. Paid research experiences are available. The language of instruction will be Spanish, and thesis research can be supervised and carried out in Spanish, Catalan, or English.
