GSA Session on Groundwater Temperature (T164)

As you prepare for the annual Geological Society of America (GSA) meeting to be held in Vancouver, please consider submitting an abstract to session T164: Dynamics of Groundwater Temperature: From Recharge to Discharge Zones.  The GSA Annual Meeting will be in Vancouver and is scheduled for 19-22 October of 2014. The abstract submission deadline is Tuesday, July 29^th: http://community.geosociety.org/gsa2014/science/sessions.

 

Session Description:

Characterization of groundwater temperature allows quantification of groundwater–surface-water fluxes, assessment of climatic changes, and characterization of groundwater systems. We solicit contributions that use groundwater temperature measurements or modeling to improve understanding of hydrogeologic processes.
