Nipissing University had just released its advertisement for a Canada Impact+ Research Chair with identified strategic research areas including Water and Food Security; Environment, Climate Resilience and the Arctic, among other areas. Undergraduate programming includes Geography (Physical and Environmental), Environmental Sciences, and Masters in Environmental Studies and Environmental Sciences.
