===============================================================
Dear About Hydrology group,

We are a team of 3  researchers specializing in the hydrology of forest and urban ecosystems, with expertise in ecological engineering, forestry, and Nature-Based Solutions (NBS). Our scientific backgrounds allow us to explore the complex interactions between water, vegetation, and land use, contributing to sustainable water management and climate adaptation strategies.

Our research focuses on:

- Rainfall interception and water balance in forests, particularly their role in flood mitigation and water retention,
- Urban hydrology and the impact of land-use changes on water cycles,
- Improving soil hydrological functions,
- Hydrological and biogeochemical modeling across natural and transformed environments.
- Development of innovative tools for water resource management

We have experience in conducting research projects and are highly motivated to join international teams preparing funding proposals within European programs such as Horizon Europe, Biodiversa or diferent. We believe that our expertise can be a valuable contribution to interdisciplinary projects focused on water management in a changing climate :)

If your team is looking for partners for joint research initiatives, we would be delighted to collaborate. We invite you to get in touch and discuss potential opportunities for cooperation.
