The Horizon Europe MSCA Doctoral Network RESCUE offers 15 fully funded PhD positions focused on tackling soil and groundwater contamination through innovative and interdisciplinary approaches combining geophysics and environmental engineering.
The PhD projects span topics ranging from contaminant behaviour and geophysical signatures to site characterisation, monitoring of contamination and remediation processes, and socio-economic, legal, and sustainability assessment.
Successful candidates will be employed for up to 36 months, receive a competitive salary and benefits package, and participate in advanced research, scientific and transferable skills training, as well as international and intersectoral secondments.
Applicants must hold a relevant Master's degree, meet MSCA mobility rules, and demonstrate upper-intermediate English proficiency.
