There is an opportunity to present papers on all aspects of the History of Hydrology to add to a Special Collection of papers in the Hydrological Sciences Journal.
The initial call for papers was very successful (24 papers received to date) but because recording the History of Hydrology, particularly from minority groups and underrepresented countries, is an ongoing project, the deadline for submission has been extended to September 2025 (see https://think.taylorandfrancis.com/special_issues/history-of-hydrology/?_gl=1*141itqy*_gcl_au*MTQ2MjY2Mzc1Ni4xNzIzMjk2NjQy*_ga*ODc0ODU0MTE5LjE3MjMyOTY2NDM.*_ga_0HYE8YG0M6*MTcyMzYxOTM3Ni40LjEuMTcyMzYxOTM5MS40NS4wLjA.&_ga=2.130068495.1293262102.1723562243-874854119.1723296643)
Papers will be processed and sent out for refereeing in the normal way. Once accepted they will published in HSJ and assigned to the History of Hydrology Special Collection.
The Guest editors for the Special Collection are Keith Beven, Okke Batelaan, Mario Mendiondo, Pradeep Mujumdar, Fabrizio Fenicia, Changchun Chen and Christina Prieto and the HSJ Co-Editor, Stacy Archfield
The Special Issue was an initiative of the IAHS Working Group on the History of Hydrology (seehttps://iahs.info/Initiatives/Working-Groups/History-of-Hydrology/)
