Presenting the Groundwater Modeling Challenge

Dear colleagues,

We are presenting the Groundwater Modeling Challenge, and invite all interested hydrologists to participate in the challenge and try to model a selected number of hydraulic head time series! With this challenge, we hope to showcase the diversity of models that can be applied to model hydraulic head time series, and systematically asses their differences and performances.

For more information, head to https://github.com/gwmodeling/challenge and start modeling today! The deadline for submissions is the 31st of December 2022, and we plan to present the results at the EGU General Assembly in April 2023.

We are looking forward seeing submission from around the world, showcasing many different types of models.
