Maintence of hydrosanity

I'm trying to get hydrosanity working in ubuntu by migrating from
libglade to GtkBuilder.

Looking at the way Rattle did it, they included backward compatibility
for libglade. They also had to add a lot of switches to make Windows,
Linux and Mac GUIs work.

Mark, if the latest version of Rattle is working in Windows, this
would be a good place look.

Also, Mark, are you familiar with any Fortran functions to import time
series data. In the US we had IOWDM for geospatial time series data,
developed by USGS. It would be nice to extend the I/O functions for a
wider applicability.
