Ph.D. Opportunity at the University of Florida. Fully-funded Research Assistantship in Compound Flood Modeling with Multivariate Statistical Framework,Use of Natural Features for Flood Resilience, and Sustainable Stormwater Infrastructures. We are seeking a highly-motivated and experienced hydrologic/hydraulic/hydrodynamic modeler to join the Advanced Coastal Environmental Simulations Laboratory, while pursuing a Ph.D. in Civil/Coastal/Environmental Engineering, at ESSIE, University of Florida. Candidates should have a Batchelor or Master’s degree in Civil/Coastal/Environmental Engineering with strong background in modeling and data analysis. Familiarity with flood modeling using 2D/3D models such as CH3D/Delft3D, HEC-RAS, ICPR, OpenSWMM, SWAN/XBEACH, PRIMo, and InfoWorks ICM, etc. preferred.
