Please join us for our first Women Plus Water Lecture of 2024!

Women and girls bear the primary responsibility for water collection in 80% of households that experience water shortages, all while access to clean water and sanitation disproportionately compromises their safety and privacy. Join us and our expert guests, Dr. Ginette Azcona (UN Women), Dr. Sherry Pictou (Dalhousie University), and Professor Joyashree Roy (Asian Institute of Technology), for a conversation around the challenges and progress toward achieving UN SDG 6: ensure access to water and sanitation for all. The conversation will include international, Global South, and Canadian Indigenous community perspectives.

When: Thursday, January 11, 2024 @ 10:30 am CST (UTC-6)

Where: Zoom (virtual)

Registration (free): https://womenpluswater.org/lecture-series

All are welcome to attend!
