I wanted to share a tool I recently built for EGU attendees called EGU Matchmaker. It helps researchers quickly find abstracts similar to theirs using AI-based semantic search.

Use cases:

1. Pre-conference networking – Know who to meet before reaching the venue.
2. Collaboration hunting – Find potential co-authors, reviewers, or experts.
3. Research discovery – Discover adjacent fields related to your work.

Just paste your abstract (or any content), and the tool returns the most relevant abstracts from the EGU2025 dataset — useful for networking or exploring related work.
