We are glad to inform that ESCI is Conducting a Continuing Professional Development Programme on “Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), Carbon Trading and REDD+ Benefits in Forestry Sector” from 12th 14th March 2012 at ESCI Campus, Gachi Bowli, Hyderabad -500 032, A. P. India.

 

This training programme is designed to update the participants with new happenings in forestry sector, Durban negotiations and to make the Indian professionals aware about new trend in CDM, Carbon Trading and REDD+ Benefits in Forest Sector in the country. The initiative could help earn millions of carbon credits and contribute to India's vision of achieving 33 per cent forest cover, promote the use of CDM, Carbon Trading and REDD+ Benefits in Forestry Sector for reducing emission from anthropogenic activities, Carbon Trading and REDD+ benefits and to discuss unresolved concerns that how governments and public entities can promote the use of CDM, Carbon Trading and REDD+ Benefits in Forestry Sector to support their development objectives.

 

 

This training will strengthen the knowledge of participants about CDM, Carbon Trading and REDD+ Benefits in Forestry Sector; and in identifying thrust areas of reducing GHG emissions and scope of carbon credit business, preparation of CDM projects, CDM project cycle and propagating new ideas for implementation of new methodologies for GHG emission reduction.
