I just picked up the Aegis Legend and I'm curious how I can check what firmware version it currently has. I don't have a PC and it doesn't look like geekvape has Mac compatability. Is it possible to check my version so I can know if it's worth the trouble of borrowing a PC? Has anyone received a Legend that was already up to date?
Are there any ACTUALLY GOOD instructions for updating firmware on the Aegis Legend? I have tried every single YouTube video I could find, and every instruction on Google and it is simply impossible.
2019-12-07 - 2019-12-24 Google responds, saying that they are unable toreproduce the issue. After that, there was a lot of back and forth to try toget logs from my device. It turned out that Android was not able to update thefirmware of the Titan M chip on my device, possibly due to a bad state I hadgotten it into while developing the PoC.
I ended up performing a factory reset on my device a few days ago, which seemsto have magically fixed the Titan M firmware update issue. The security issueitself also appears to be resolved. I would have loved to try to dig deeper intothis, but as said, the source of the Titan M firmware is simply not available.Google appears to have added CTStestsfor the exhibited behavior, but other than that, there is no trace of how thisbug was fixed.

The people at geekvape advised against this obviously but, they did give me some helpful information on their device and advised against hacking into it or loading on third party firmware, but they also told me to factory reset it if need be to get it back to its old self.
