Flash dead or not?

Hello everybody ,
Few days back there was an announcement regarding
flash player on mobile browsers being halted ,but this decision has
unnecessarily created lot of doubts in the minds of the developers as
to the whole existence of flash player on desktops and adobe AIR which
has been created by media as well as bloggers working on rival
technologies.
I have been doing some research on this and have
consolidated some reasons.There have been changes, but it seems they
are in
the positive direction.
