Hi Players,

We need extras/background actors for our film shoot, if anyone is interested! This is for the short film Eventual Blindness, a vignette drama about a recovering alcoholic and his blind friend who both try to find some light in an otherwise dark world.

We need 3 extras at Robust Coffee Lounge (6300 S Woodlawn Ave.) at 8:00a.m. - 10:00a.m. (the latest) on Sunday April 23rd. You may not need to be there the whole 2 hours. FREE COFFEE AND BAGEL/SNACK FROM ROBUST. We will ask you to sit in the booths in the back room and pretend to talk (mouth your words).

We need 5 extras at Jimmy's Woodlawn Tap (1172 E 55th St, Chicago, IL 60615) at 11:00a.m. - 1:00p.m. (the latest) on Sunday April 23rd as well. FREE COFFEE AND BAGEL/SNACK FROM STARBUCKS. We will ask you to stand around, holding a drink (fake alcohol), and pretend to talk (mouth your words). You can sit down in between takes. We may or may not need you for the whole 2 hours.

All extras will receive credit in the film and eventually a copy. This film will be submitted to film festivals and later released online. Let me know if anyone wants to sign up! :)

Cheers,
Glenn

Hey Players,

So we need just a few more background actors (I agree with Mark Hamill that the term "extra" is not adequate, and in England actually the term is "background artist") for our film shoot this weekend!

We need background actors/artists at Jimmy's Woodlawn Tap (1172 E 55th St, Chicago, IL 60615) at 11:00a.m. - 1:00p.m. on Sunday April 23rd. Free coffee and bagel/snack from Starbucks! We'll ask you to stand around, holding a drink (fake alcohol), and pretend to talk (mouth your words silently). You can sit down in between takes if needed. We may or may not need you for the whole 2 hours. This is an important scene in the film! Every background actor will be credited!

Here's the film's logline: Eventual Blindness is a vignette drama about a recovering alcoholic and his blind friend who both try to find some light in an otherwise dark world.

Let me know if anyone is interested!

Cheers,
Glenn
