The Civic Leadership Academy is designed for high-performing nonprofit and government leaders who seek rigorous leadership development. The six-month program incorporates courses on leadership fundamentals taught by UChicago faculty with practical application through a capstone project and global practicum in Delhi, India.

The Civic Leadership Academy is an initiative of the University of Chicago Office of Civic Engagement, in partnership with the UChicago's five professional schools, Local Initiatives Support Corporation Chicago, Civic Consulting Alliance, City of Chicago and Cook County, with funding from the Searle Funds at The Chicago Community Trust, McCormick Foundation, JPMorgan Chase, and Microsoft.
