Chicago-based artist Aram Han Sifuentes leads a collaborative embroidery workshop at the Smart Museum of Art.

During this free family day, stitch intricate designs that reflect the fabric of our neighborhoods, city, nation, and shared planet. The activities are inspired by the Smart Museum’s collection-based project on Belonging<http://smartmuseum.uchicago.edu/exhibitions/conversations-with-the-collection-belonging> and Sifuentes’ US Citizenship Test Samplers<http://www.hullhousemuseum.org/us-citizenship-test-samplers> project at the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum.
