Opportunity of the Week:
Team Stratonauts (FREE!)
Ever send a GoPro higher than Mt. Everest? Ever design and 3D print a work of genius that can withstand 100mph winds and subzero temperatures? Ever wire and code a microcomputer, then send it to the edge of space to measure ultraviolet radiation from the sun?! Join the Adler Planetarium's Team Stratonauts and you can! Participants will learn 3D printing, soldering, high altitude ballooning, and so much more alongside Adler STEM Professionals!
Dates: Saturdays, Oct. 22 - Feb. 18

The challenge is on! Our partner the Chicago Architecture Foundation is calling young people to design an affordable housing prototype for a neighborhood in Chicago using open data. Participants will present a digital or physical model for an affordable housing unit.
