Position - ETL Data warehouse Tester

Location: Minnesota MN (Locals Only)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Rate: $45/Hr on C2C

Position: ETL Data Warehouse Tester Enterprise

Summary:

• An EDW Enterprise Data Warehouse QE Quality Engineer professional is responsible for ensuring the accuracy integrity and quality of data within the data warehouse environment.
• Their key responsibilities include validating ETL Extract Transform Load processes using AI tools verifying source to target data mappings testing data transformations leveraging AI CoPilot Python and ensuring that reports and dashboards reflect accurate business information.
• They collaborate closely with data engineers' business analysts and developers to identify data issues create comprehensive test plans and test cases and support defect resolution throughout the development lifecycle Understanding of Bronze/Silver Gold data arch in platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis

• Participate in data modeling and requirement gathering sessions to ensure testing aligns with business needs.
• Strong understanding of Bronze Silver Gold data architecture in modern data platforms.
• Data Validation Perform backend testing to compare data in source systems to target Medicaid Enterprise Data Warehouses EDW Verify source to target data mapping and transformation logic for Medicaid datasets Validate data quality standardization rules and loading accuracy SQL amp Scripting.
• Write complex SQL queries including multi table JOINs aggregations to validate ETL outputs against business rules Conduct row counts null checks duplicate checks referential integrity validation.
• Test Strategy amp Execution Design test plans test cases and test scenarios for ETL and data warehouse processes Document test results and provide detailed feedback to stakeholders highlighting areas for improvement Rigorous test case review and approval cycles.
• Required Skills amp
• Qualifications Technical Skills Deep proficiency in SQL and relational database systems Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL Analytical Skills Ability to compare datasets, identify root causes of discrepancies and validate against business rules.
• Consistent Use Maintain a minimum of 90% weekly usage of AI tools such as GitHub.
• Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of MMIS data warehouse migration and data mart validation. Familiarity with state Medicaid agencies Snowflake Tool Knowledge
