TABLEAU DEVELOPER

San Jose, CA

12 Months

 This role is heavy on ETL, so we are looking for 80% ETL and 20% Tableau report development. We'd focus our search to look for candidates who are ETL developers, proficient in SQL, and have Tableau reports development as part of their profile.

 

Job Description:

·        Owns report/dashboard delivery tasks from development through support including: documenting development approach,

·        implementing code changes, testing, gathering approvals, migrating code, and support/enhancement of code post-production

·        Develops Tableau code changes based on functional requirements defined via business  requirement documents (BRDs), functional specification design documents (FSDs), and Technical Design Documents (TDDs) provided by CorpBI

·        Develops and documents Tableau code changes, unit / integration / performance tests pursuant to CorpBI’s development standards and best practices

·        May work alongside Google BSAs, program managers and other TVCs to determine report/dashboard functional & technical requirements when Required.

·        Will provide support for new and existing reports/dashboards owned by CorpBI including on-call support as required

·        Will create and maintain detailed documentation via Google Docs / Sheets / Slides for assigned report/dashboard development

·        and testing tasks as prescribed by CorpBI

·        Will be held accountable to task assignments from CorpBI and required to provide weekly status updates, daily during testing and deployment windows
