What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run a instance boot from EBS on Eucalyptus 3.x.
2. Right-click the instance and select Instance Lifecycle.
3. Check the enabled menu items.
What is the expected output?
Menu item "stop" should be enabled when the instance is running.
Menu item "start" should be enabled when the instance is stopped.
What do you see instead?
Menu items stop/start are not enabled when the endpoint is not AWS.
Attached patch file for hybridfox1.6.
- Adding conditions to enable Start/Stop menu for boot from EBS
instances
- Also adding conditions to enable Get Administrator Password for
Windows instances
when the endpoint is Eucalyptus or OpenStack.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
hybridfox-1.6.000196 on Windows
Please provide any additional information below.
This fix is compatible for older Eucalyptus and OpenStack because no
changes for instance-store.
BTW.
Strange IDs, seem like IDs for images, are indicated on Volumes and
Snapshots TAB now - revision 224.
