I joined this group recently in order to talk to like minded people
and learn as much as possible before committing to the concept. What
do I find? I am already talking to every existing member!!

So, we need to recruit more owners. Anybody have contact with the
owner of Timewarp, which I believe Graeme would call a series hybrid?

Well all the best people are here :)

Yes we do need to get all the other interested parties to join in ! I
have spoken to graeme and he would probably send out an email on our
behalf to all the purchasers and possible purchasers of the Hybrid-
Marine solution so I suppose I should get some wording togther.

As for Timewarp I dont think I know this one is that a Fischer Panda
system ?

I am in touch with the guys on Waterways Routes who have dual electric/
Diesel drive, not quite a hybrid but very similar I will drop them a
line and see if they are interested in joining.

Once I get the data from this years cruising collated I will post the
details here and a summary on Chelonians web site.

Dave,

Timewarp is a series hybrid built by Debdale Wharf and at the Crick
Show this year. Onan generator set charging batteries and also
powerering an electric motor. Gasless boat with a beautiful Art Dec
interior.

There is also a barge Sara where the owner has junked an ancient Daf
engine and fitted a series diesel electric with good results. When I
find the web site I will post the URL here.
