I. Roe v. Wade Anniversary Call-in Day - TOMORROW, Red Square 11am - 4pm
Tomorrow is the 37th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Anti-choicers are converging on the city for their annual "March for Life" and are lobbying Congress to further limit access to reproductive healthcare. We're hosting a call-in day to counter their message. Come by the table on Friday where we'll have a script and talking points for you to call your Representatives and Senators and let them know that you want abortion coverage in healthcare reform!
II. Protest the "March for Life" - Tomorrow, All Day @ the Supreme Court
H*yas for Choice isn't going down as a group to protest the March for Life, but we recommend it for any protest-loving activists who have time on Friday. Pro-choice activists are meeting up at the Supreme Court at 8am and will be there all day to counter the March for Life. Go down any time you can to stand with pro-choice allies and let your voice be heard over the roar of the anti-choice crowd. You can find out more on the facebook event page
III. HFC Tabling- Mondays & Thursdays All Semester
H*yas for Choice tables every Monday and Thursday from 10-4 in Red Square (Leavey in bad weather). We still have a lot of openings for tablers, and some slots that don't have any tablers yet. We really need people on Mondays for the 11-12 shift and the 1-2 shift and on Thursdays for the 2-3 shift. If you're available for one of these shifts or any other time on Mondays or Thursdays from 10-4 email Rachel (
rc...@georgetown.edu) with your name and the time that you'd like to table.

IV. Condom Reps - All Semester on Your Door
H*yas for Choice is the only source of condoms on campus, but some people feel uncomfortable taking them from the table or don't come through Red Square on days when we table. This is why we have condom reps! Condom reps put an envelope of condoms on their door for people on their floor and in their building. If you're interested in becoming a condom rep or want to know more, email Heather (
hb...@georgetown.edu).
V. Party Bags - All Semester at Your Parties
If you or someone you know is hosting a party, consider picking up a party bag. Party bags are available at the H*yas for Choice table on Mondays and Thursdays. Put them next to the drinks or the door to make sure your guests play it safe. :)
VI. Choice Week - March 22-26
Put it on your calendar! We'll have awesome pro-choice events during the day in Red Square and in the evening. Is there something you really want us to do?
Email us!
VII. Relay for Life - April 16
Join the H*yas for Choice
Relay for Life team! Those of you who have Relayed in the past, you know the amazing cause and great fun that is Relay. Help Georgetown and HFC do our part in fighting cancer!
VIII. H*yas for Choice T-Shirts
Be sure to show your support for HFC by buying a t-shirt! They're $10 at the table in Red Square and a great way to show your pro-choice pride by wearing purple!
IX. ALUMNI
HFC will soon be setting up an Alumni Newsletter! We'll send out an email with the current H*yas for Choicegoings on 3-4 times per year. It's a great way to keep up with HFC news without having to receive an emailevery week. If you'd like to join the Alumni Listserve, simply reply to this email with "Alumni," and your NetID/email address. Once we make the shift, you'll be among the first to get the new emails.
