Dear PCS Members,

Please see the following announcement by PCS Bylaw Amendment Task Force.

On the special board meeting on Sunday, May 12th, the bylaw amendment task force presented revised bylaws based on feedback from both board members and general members.  Several general members including former PCS principals and board members participated the discussion.  The board recognized the great efforts put in by the task force to improve the current bylaws, and provided overall positive feedback to the revised bylaws.  After an hour and half of discussion on many details, the task force suggested two options for the board to proceed: either vote right away, or wait for another week to gather more feedback from general members.  In an effort to get more general members involved in the process and give general members more time to respond, the board decided to extend the general member feedback deadline to midnight of Friday, May 17th, 2013.  The board and task force are looking forward to hearing from more general members on the revised bylaws. The board is now scheduled to vote on the final bylaws proposal on Sunday, May 19, 2013.
