Urgent help needed

Dear all, 

Our school might have to withdraw from the Asian Heritage Festival this Saturday due to lack of volunteers. So far, only 4 female team members signed up.  

We need at least 4 men to do the set-up at 11 am and 4 men to take it down after 5 pm. We also need others to man the booth between 12 and 5.

I realize it's Father's Day weekend but if you can swing by for just one or two hours, it will be tremendously helpful. 

Please reply to Chiwen who needs to hear from you by TODAY.

Hi again, 

A thank you to people who have already volunteered to help out at Asian Heritage Festival.

However, as of now, we only have 4 volunteers, including me, stepping up so I am sending this appeal again. Hopefully whoever hasn't contacted me yet is looking at the schedule trying to squeeze in one hour or two in to come volunteer. I understand how busy we all are with the kids' sports, end of year finishing up, grocery shopping, finding the last minute Father's Day gift, etc, etc, but the Marketing Committee REALLY NEEDS YOUR HELP to make this event happen. Especially with other Chinese schools attending AHF as well, I don't wish to see HXNYC being the only school with very few volunteers.... :(

And I am sending this email to ask you to help out with Asian Heritage Festival. It will be LAST TIME this year for me to solicit volunteers. I appreciate it if you could leave one hour or two to come join us to spread the words to Westchester families that come to AHF about HXNYC. 

Here is the lowdown,

Date: Saturday, June 14

Time: 12 to 6pm (we usually finish by 5ish)

Location: Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla

We will need at least four volunteers for each shift for setup, introducing our school to families, distributing flyers, answering questions, helping arts & craft projects, cleanup etc.etc.

First shift: 11am to 2.30pm

Second shift: 2.30pm to 6pm

Even if you can't stay for the whole shift, like I stressed above, staying one hour or two would be great. Thank you in advance!
