PHD student thesis and project

Dear humanitarian data groups, 

I do not want to take you too much time. I have a background in data analysis and Biostatistics (MSc Biostatistic, Zurich), and I am currently a phd student. My willingness is to collaborate to a humanitarian project and develop a data analysis research on that, I am vocated to work for humanitarian research and would like to do an internship in the field. If any of you work in collaboration with NGOs or non-governative associations that do field data research and think they might be happy to host a phd student for a free internship when collaborating with their data, please let me know! 

I am doing my best to try to enter into the real data field work.

I am currently working at Nepal Bankers' Association and we are trying to do something new with historical data and forecasting indicators, creating interactive data portal,  generating first hand industry data and so on which is expected to become a milestone project in banking sector of Nepal.
