We have a few construction updates and information regarding Vanderbilt Commencement to share with you.
Vanderbilt Commencement: May 8–9
- Thursday, May 8: Graduates Day - 11 a.m., Indoor Practice Facility at the David Williams II Recreation and Wellness Center
- Thursday, May 8: Commencement Celebration - Noon–3 p.m., Sports Club Field 3
- Friday, May 9: Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony - 9 a.m., GEODIS Park
- Friday, May 9: Graduate and Professional Commencement Ceremonies, various times and locations

Construction Updates
- 17th Avenue single-lane, sidewalk planned mid-April through early June
- New science building to house collaborative space for three Vanderbilt schools and colleges
- Utility worked planned along 24th Avenue, new temporary roadway to open
- Mayfield student housing to undergo urgent utility repairs
Traffic controllers on-site will assist with vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Be sure to plan ahead. Delays are expected, so map out your alternative route or schedule extra time for your commute. All pedestrian and vehicle routes are subject to change; updates will be shared on the Facilities Instagram and X accounts.
