§ Our Adopt-a-Street partners, the American Society of Civil Engineers from Vanderbilt, have scheduled litter cleanups at Love Circle: 2/28 and 3/21 from 9:00 to 11:00. Feel free to join these dedicated, energetic students, or give a honk and a wave of thanks if you see them helping to keep this area cleaner and safer.

§ The annual District 18 Recycle Day, co-sponsored by your Metro Beautification Commissioner and our friendly Belmont-Hillsboro Neighbors, takes place 9:00 to noon on Saturday, March 21, at the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee (Belmont & Woodmont). Everyone's invited to recycle lots of stuff, and a flyer with information about what can be accepted will go out soon.

§ Save the date for HWEN'S beloved Irish Park Memorial Spring Plant Swap! Set for April 24, from 2:00 to 4:00 at 3005 Blakemore Avenue, all are invited, young and young-at-heart, green thumb or just learning about how to garden. Watch for details about our special guest stars, coming soon.

§ Reservations to purchase tree seedlings from The Tennessee Environment Council close on March 1st. Our neighbors with the Second Sunday Gardeners will distribute reserved
