Dear Neighbors,

We understand that this busy time of year can create added stress, particularly due to the number of campus events and associated noise. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please know that we are actively working with Athletics and other partners to identify ways to better mitigate sound reaching the surrounding residential neighborhood. These efforts are ongoing, and we appreciate your patience.

We are approaching the end of this particularly active season. This week’s Vanderbilt University baseball game, Graduates Day, Commencement, and the Eagles concert will mark its conclusion, after which campus activity will transition into a quieter summer period.

To help you prepare, we’ve outlined what to expect in the coming days.

FirstBank Stadium lights will be in use into the evening on most nights this week to support scheduled events. Lighting will be reduced whenever possible.

Below is a detailed overview of road closures and traffic plans. Each plan has been designed to keep event-related traffic on campus roadways and minimize impact on surrounding neighborhoods.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We remain committed to being a good neighbor and to addressing concerns that may affect you.
